About us

The Pont. Gasztroműhely is not just a restaurant, but the realization of a dream; a story that took shape in the heart of Eger, at the foot of the castle.

We embarked on this adventure as a young couple, in our late 20s. Although we lived in Budapest for nearly ten years due to university, our love for our hometown of Eger, our dedication to its advancement, and the desire to create something lasting brought us back.

For us, Pont. Gasztroműhely is not just a restaurant or a business: it is a second home and community space, where the past and the present, our memories, old acquaintances and childhood tastes meet the desire for renewal, the love of new-wave gastronomy and the refreshing excitement of new acquaintances. We look forward to welcoming you as our guest.
